Jersey Mini
A Boer Goat doe is usually 140 to 200 pounds.  Our church members have been purchasing Boers for their mission in Malawi, Africa for years.  Spurred by the idea of finding a smaller goat that would require less feed, while producing more milk, we began a breeding program to maximize production traits while minimizing costs.  We are breeding a smaller Boer type that will retain the ability to produce a quality carcass but in a pint- sized package with improved milk production. Our goal is to produce a goat that will fit into the American small homestead operation, as well as the mission field.  Our goats are handled and make ideal pets.
